The Geno Saurer (also written as Genosaurer) is a Tyrannosaurus type Zoid, one of over 200 species of fictional biomechanical lifeforms depicted by TOMY’s Zoids model, toy, and media franchise. Based on the Death Saurer, the Geno Saurer plays a large role in several parts of the Battle Story, is the main antagonist’s Zoid in the Chaotic Century anime and manga, and makes appearances in Guardian Force, New Century Zero, and Zoids: Fuzors.

The Geno Saurer is a Tyrannosaurus-type Zoid, created by the Guylos Empire, and used during the Helic-Guylos wars that occurred on Zi after the meteor strike of ZAC 2056.
The Geno Saurer was one of the first new Zoids designed after the destruction of the third moon of Zi and the resulting meteor shower. The Zoid’s design came about by scaling down the Death Saurer, and adapting its technology. Geno Saurers were the first Zoids to be equipped with the newly-developed Organoid System. This system, derived from technology found in an ancient ruin, enhances the Zoid’s intelligence and abilities.

The Geno Saurer is a very capable Zoid, being fast and agile, while also very well armed and armoured. The Zoid’s main weapon is a Charged Particle Cannon, a derivative of the Death Saurer’s main weapon. While smaller and less powerful than the older weapon, the Geno Saurer’s cannon remains potent. The Zoid’s only weakness is that it needs to be anchored and completely stationary in order to fire the CPC. Another problem is caused due to the massive heat generated by such a weapon, causing the weapon to only be able to fire once every couple of minutes. The thick tail of the Geno Saurer is covered with vents and filled with heat-sinks to partially compensate for this problem.

It was seen in the anime that destroying the footlocks of the Geno Saurer (but not the Geno Breaker) would render the Zoid incapable of firing its Charged Particle Cannon.

In the anime and the games, the Geno Saurer (as well as the Geno Breaker) is depicted with an additional weapon. It is able to launch its hands on long, retractable cables like grappling hooks to grab and restrain Zoids at a distance, and pull them into its line of fire. In addition, these “grappling claws” can deliver an electric shock, though it loses the ability to shock opponents when it becomes the Geno Breaker.

This Bakugan (and all Bakugans) because it can be manipulated in various ways, and this particular one also lights up. I think there is some learning involved – he has to be meticulous to join the pieces and make them fold up again, so it improves fine motor skills and logical thinking. Otherwise, these toys are cool-looking, collectibles (they definitely increase in value with time – might be a good investment one day!), and can be used to play games in which number skills are needed – “G-powers” of competing Bakugans have to be added and compared.

This very impressive Ver. Ka (“Version Katoki”) release was produced by acclaimed Gundam mecha designer Hajime Katoki, whose signature style helps make this snap-fit plastic kit one to remember! Molded in color, Sinanju will be fully poseable upon completion, right down to its individually articulated fingers! Other features include an openable cockpit hatch, and thrusters on its backpack that can slide open. Its array of weapons includes a Beam Rifle with grenade launcher attachment, a pair of Beam Axes and Beam Sabers, and a shield. Both a sheet of waterslide decals and foil stickers are provided so you can choose which one you prefer for the model. This Ver.Ka (Hajime Katoki version) of the Sinanju from Harutoshi Fukui’s novel series “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn” is the sixth “Designers MG” release totally overseen by Hajime Katoki, conceptual designer of model kits for the MG (Master Grade) and HGUC (High Grade Universal Century) series.

The Marine Cobra Helicopter Gyro S108G is a completely different helo all together. The collective (vertical control) is not spring loaded like the S107G. Not only that, the Cobra is much more robust in its response and power and can be difficult to manage. This is troublesome to me as the Cobra’s body and frame appears to be completely plastic (as apposed to the S107 having a metal frame). Also, the Cobra has one solid white light which I prefer to the flashing blue and red o the S107G. Because the collective is not spring loaded you can make it hover and set the controls down on a table it still flies. Sometimes I forget to return the collective to zero when I crash. The Cobra has lost reception several times and when it does it falls from the air and crashes. The Cobra appears to “Pop and Click” like a Marine should–no kidding. It can speed around room much faster than the others and turns much more quickly. In fact, the other seems sluggish in comparison and it is easy to “oversteer.”

Macross Plus (マクロスプラス Makurosu Purasu?) is a four-episode anime OVA and theatrical movie in the Macross series. It was the first sequel to the original Macross television series that took place in the official timeline (Macross II was quickly retconned by series creator Shoji Kawamori as a parallel world story in the Macross universe). Plus was a groundbreaking combination of traditional cel and computer-generated animation at the time of its release, paving the way for the incorporation of more computer-generated imagery in Japanese Animation.

Both the OVA series and movie were released in Japan by Bandai Visual and in North America and Europe by Manga Entertainment. The Australian VHS version was released by Manga Entertainment and the DVD version by Madman Entertainment under sub-license from Manga Entertainment. Macross Plus was aired on Australia’s government-owned broadcaster, ABC Television in 1995 and 1996, when the broadcasting of English-dubbed anime was prominent on the ABC and was one of many Manga Entertainment titles aired on the channel.

Starscream is a fictional character in the Transformers franchise. He is one of the most prolific characters in the Transformers fictional work, appearing in almost all incarnations of the story. Starscream is usually portrayed with the same characterization. Formerly being a scientist, Starscream is a treacherous, high ranking Decepticon who turns into a jet and is known to often challenge his leader Megatron for leadership of the Decepticons.

Abilities
Starscream transforms into a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and serves as the Decepticon Air Commander, leading the other Decepticon Seeker jets, many of whom share his physical design. According to his technical specifications, he can reach speeds up to Mach 2.8, and can climb up to sub-orbital altitudes of 52 miles (84 km) and nose-dive down to ground level in minutes (the real aircraft has a top speed of Mach 2.5 with an altitude ceiling of 65,000 feet (19,800 m), or 12.3 miles). His arm is mounted with launchers (mounted under his wings in jet mode), which can launch two types of weaponry—cluster bombs, each of which can level an area 10,000 square feet (900 m2), and his signature weapon, the null ray, which can disrupt the flow of electricity in any circuitry it hits for brief periods, effectively rendering any electronic device or machine (including Transformers) temporarily inoperable.

Generation 1 Autobot Car Ironhide (1984)
The Ironhide toy originated as a toy before the actual Transformers toyline began, in a line called Diaclone. As with many Diaclone toys, the vanette (the term mini-van would not be used until the first Dodge Caravans were sold in 1984) toy was released in 1984 as a new character called Ironhide. Not being designed to be a sentient robot in the Diaclone line (he was piloted by a tiny driver figure who sat in the driver’s seat), the toy of Ironhide did not have a proper head, instead having a pilot’s seat behind his windscreen. A sticker with a face on it applied to the seat was to represent the head. This toy was not the most suited to be a Transformer but the character of Ironhide went on to become one of the best-known identities in Transformers. According to store listings there were plans to reissue Trailbreaker and Ironhide as commemorative toys in 2005, but due to poor sales of the line, they were never released. However in late 2007, Ironhide did make it into a toy reissue as a part of the TakaraTomy Encore series. An extra feature of this Encore release is a cardboard cartoon-style Ironhide head which can be mounted on top of the toy’s windshield in his robot mode.

Generation 2 Power Master Ironhide
In Europe, Ironhide received a further upgrade as a “Power Master” (not to be confused with the Generation 1 Powermasters) where he now transformed into a Hummer. The European Power Masters (also called Powered Masters) were simple pull robots with pull back motors which propelled them in either form, like the Generation 1 Throttlebots, but they would only go forward when their weapons were inserted into their base.
This version of Ironhide is described as being a battle-tested veteran with heavy armored plating.

Generation 2 Go-bot Ironhide (1995)
For Generation 2, Ironhide was reformatted into a silver Ford F-series pickup truck. Although he received a new bio and motto, he still functions as security. The toy was a recolor of the Autobot Motormouth.
Ironhide’s tech spec described him as a stubborn survivor and incredible strength. He’s been upgraded from his old armored form to a lightweight alloy frame with a major boost in speed. Ironhide has never appeared in this form in any official fiction.

Beast Wars Deluxe Ironhide (1997)
Packaged together with Beast Wars Prowl and Beast Wars eagle Silverbolt.
This toy was later redecoed into Beast Wars Second Santon.

Timelines Deluxe Ironhide (2005)
A BotCon exclusive remold of Energon Towline. Came packaged in a box set with Chromia, Fallback, Ricochet, Buzzclaw, Deathsaurus and Dirge.

Universe Classic Series Deluxe Ironhide (2008)
A new mold that combines the look of the original G1 cartoon character with the detail and articulation of modern Transformers toys. The figure sports a license plate that reads, “OREGON” – the home state of the Autobots’ Earth base.
The mold for this figure was also used for Universe Autobot Ratchet.

Henkei! Henkei! C-11 Deluxe Ironhide (2008)
The Japanese version of the Universe Deluxe figure by Takara Tomy has the front grille, headlights, taillights and gun molded in chrome silver. In addition, the Oregon license plate is omitted and a yellow stripe is added on the SUV mode’s side panels.
